Biography
Farrell Vallian Tempers born on the 13th May 1961 in Grassy Park Cape Town completed High School in Manenberg, and loved sport, a strong Administrator, and served his Football
Associations at the time in various executive positions. Got married on 22nd February 1992. Farrell was employed in the Engineering Industry as an Inventory Control Manager. A position he was very passionate about and always had his companies’ interest at heart.
Farrell Vallian Tempers are the director and Overseer and leads the Abundant Life Outreach Ministries and are the Founder of Builders In The Spirit Apostolic Network in Cape Town South Africa. He have been part of the church for Fifteen years and is currently serving on the Pastoral staff. Since becoming the senior pastor. Farrell has successfully led the church through a period of reinvention-which has become known as ‘A Church with a Difference’ – the fruit which is seen in the thriving & Strong church we are today. His leadership has also seen the inception of the Abundant Life Leadership Academy, The Abundant Live Network of Churches. His Apostolic Affirmation was conducted on 27th February 2011 in the City of Kampala in Uganda.
The blend of practical wisdom and humour that characterises Farrell’s preaching is also reflected in his initiatives which includes ‘Soccer Whole Life Skill Coaching’, ‘Accapela-Singing with Understanding’ and ‘Generational Men in their Position’. His vision is to first reach those in his own community, build them into an awesome local church and then export the ‘sound’ of that house across the earth. This has resulted in the growth of a fast-paced contemporary and culturally relevant church community.
There are currently about 25 ministry initiatives working across the Church and broader
ministry, a testimony to Farrell Tempers’ empowering leadership style. He is currently serving on various networks in the City of Cape Town. Namely:
- Greater Mitchell’s Plain Transformation Network, a Prayer Network
- Concerned Clergy of The Western Cape
- CapeNet Apostolic Network
- Khoisan Spiritual Leadership Network,
and are involved in the Civic Affairs of his community as:
- The Secretary of the Lentegeur Resident’s Association
Farrell Vallian Tempers was also invited, together with other recognized clergy in the City, to have served on The Guardian Committee of the ACDP. He is currently serving as Ministry
Partner with the well respected Apostle Sylvester Trotter and Prophetess Lillian Trotter of The New Jerusalem Ministries of Mobile Alabama USA.
Apostle Farrell’s International travels began in 2011 with missionary work in Uganda where he was invited by A Network of Pentecostal Churches to participate in the graduation ceremonies. And since he has travelled to Uganda and established new churches and revisits them in reinforcing the set foundations.
During the year 2015, Apostle Farrell was invited to Mobile Alabama USA to Minister at The ‘Gloryfest 2015’ Explosion Of Glory for 4 days. The Bible Faith International College and Seminary conferred Apostle Farrell Vallian Tempers an Honorary Doctor Degree and in 2016 appointed him Dean of BFICS Satilite Cape Town ~ South Africa.
Our City of Cape Town, for years benefitted from Apostle Farrell’s Strong International ties, as he Accommodated and Hosted well known seasoned, and yet humbled Speakers in the form of:

His Passion for studying and teaching, probed him in establishing the Farrell Harvesting Centre For Human Development a Bible School with an Effective Curriculum. He has been continuously studying and doing Missionary Evangelism with Africa International Missions and International Bible School under Dr. Roger E Dickson for the last Eighteen Years.
The City of Cape Town together with Kings Word International, on the 14th March 2008, Honoured Apostle Farrell Tempers , The Recognition of his loyalty, love commitment and perseverance to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ Extended in the City of Cape Town over the past years, at the ‘Sons of The Soil’ Apostolic Convention in Lentegeur Mitchell’s Plain Cape Town.
Farrell Vallian Tempers formed the ‘Builders In The Spirit an Apostolic Network’, an organization designed to connect five-fold ministers, ministries and churches together for the establishment of Kingdom Purposes, Apostolic Order, Strategies and Ordinations in Advancing the Kingdom of God World-wide and has over Twenty Five Apostolic Ministries Affiliated.
The WCCMA Western Cape Christian Ministers Association a Network over 300 Churches in the Western Cape dealing with land through the City of Cape Town opted Farrell as Deputy Secretary since 2016 and his Builders In The Spirit Ministries are in Good Standing with The WCCMA. Apostle Farrell Vallian Tempers’ love for people of all cultures and race groups whilst Evangelizing the Train Ministry, and his hands on involvement in Community activities, had him carefully noticed by Ps. Edwin Edson, a leading Figure, Pioneer and Bridge Builder in the City, who granted Apostle Farrell the opportunity nurturing his gifts, dreams and inspiration, allowing him to work in all the depatmentals of his church called Shekhina City Life Centre, had him called up as the Director of Homecells after faithfully serving as Zone Pastor.
Today Apostle Dr. Farrell Vallian Tempers strongly believe that God Is well able to work with His Church in this dispensation bringing tremendous change in our City and Country as a whole.
On the 13th July 2019 Farrell Vallian Tempers was conferred an Honorary PhD degree in Social Development and Community Service from Divinity College Consortium and was appointed a Professorship of Student Development from the same College. Farrell Vallian Tempers went on to Established The Mitchell’s Plain Bible Institute on the 16th November 2019.
